BOULDER —University of Colorado men's golf coach Roy Edwards has added one more player to his 2017 recruiting class, signing Daniel O'Loughlin, a sophomore-to-be transferring from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, La.
A native of Nottingham, England, O'Loughlin enjoyed quite a successful freshman season in his first year living in the United States. He earned first-team All-Southland Conference honors (just five players make the team), in addition to being named the SLC's Freshman of the Year. In helping McNeese State to the SLC title and a third straight berth in the NCAA Championships, he led the team in stroke average with a 73.
