SAN FRANCISCO—Colorado junior Shyra James scored three goals in the Buffaloes' 10-goal outburst to start the season, helping her to the season's first Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week honor to the conference announced on Monday.
James, a native of La Mesa, Calif., ranks third in the NCAA with her three goals in the early goings of the season. She has eight total points to lead the Pac-12 and ranks eighth nationally.
"It was a great start to the season," head coach Danny Sanchez noted. "Team success always leads to individual recognition.
