CHICAGO — Forget all that doom-and-gloom conjecture about the talented yet inconsistent Colorado Buffaloes. The Buffs are alive and well.
D’Shawn Schwartz drained his fifth 3-pointer of the game at the buzzer, giving CU a dramatic 78-76 overtime win against the No. 13 Dayton Flyers on Saturday in the first game of the Chicago Legends doubleheader at the United Center.
McKinley Wright IV posted a double-double with 29 points and 10 rebounds and Schwartz finished with 20 points.
Dayton led 74-71 late in overtime but CU outscored the Flyers 7-2 the rest of the way.
