Darian Hagan named running backs coach as MacIntyre shuffles staff

Buffs great Darian Hagan was named as the running backs coach as Mike MacIntyre shuffled his offensive staff, the school announced today. Klayton Adams, the man who previously was in charge of the backs and tight ends will be taking over as the offensive line coach. Gary Bernardi will now handle the fullbacks and tight ends.

Hagan, who was the starting quarterback for the Buffs when they won the national championship in 1990 served as the director of player development for the previous three years under MacIntyre.

"Darian brings a lot of pride and passion to our football program with his history here, and also brings expertise to our running backs," Coach MacIntyre said in a press release.
