Dallas Walton was already a feel good comeback story. He charged back after two ACL tears in high school to earn an offer from the home-state Colorado Buffaloes, and then charged in again as a redshirt freshman when Tory Miller-Stewart went down in 2017.
Well, on a team full of great stories, Walton just added another chapter.
Dallas Walton tore his ACL in practice and will miss the 2018-19 basketball season. He was the Buffs only “true” big man who was a great back-to-the-basket player and passer last year. After a promising season that included him famously outdueling Deandre Ayton in CU’s upset, it looked as if he was just starting to realize his massive potential.
