The University of Colorado's women's golf team finds itself facing an uphill climb — albeit a slight one — in the final round of the NCAA West Regional today if it wants to extend its season.
A windy and rainy Friday at Stanford Golf Course left the Buffaloes tied for 10th with UNLV, four shots back of North Carolina for the sixth and final qualifying for the NCAA Tournament. CU carded a 16-over-par 300 total, sitting at 27-over 595 through two days in the 18-team field.
For the second straight round, CU played better on the back nine than it did on the front nine on the 6,269-yard, Par-71 course.
