Former University of Colorado basketball standout Lexy Kresl has been nominated for the 2015 NCAA Woman of the Year Award.
Now in its 25th year, the Woman of the Year award honors graduating female college athletes who have exhausted their eligibility and distinguished themselves throughout their collegiate careers in academics, athletics, service and leadership.
The 5-11 guard from Paradise Valley, Ariz. averaged 12.4 points, 4.5 assists and 4.4 rebounds as a senior earning honorable mention to the 2015 All-Pac-12 Conference team. Kresl wrapped up her illustrious playing career among the all-time finest at Colorado in numerous categories including fourth in free throw percentage (.
