It's been a tough couple of seasons for the Colorado women's basketball team.
Kennedy Leonard is looking to change that.
"I don't lose a lot," she said. "I'd rather win than lose any day."
Leonard has yet to play a game at the collegiate level, but the 5-foot-8 point guard from Southlake, Texas, already has the confidence of a veteran.
"She knows we're going to be good and she's willing to do what it takes," CU head coach Linda Lappe said of the talented guard.
In the past few years, Lappe has had the luxury of not needing to rely on freshmen, but this year's class could be tough to keep off the floor.
