Zoe Correal has an impressive basketball lineage in her family tree, and the multitalented sophomore forward also sports a keen eye toward literature. More importantly for the Colorado women's basketball team, Correal already has built on the 1.7 points and 2.1 rebounds she averaged as a freshman last year, compiling averages of 3.9 points and 4.6 rebounds through CU's first nine games.
Q: You're from San Francisco. How did you settle on CU when you were being recruited?
Correal: There were a lot of schools in the SoCal area that I got looks from.
