BOULDER — The Buffs never stopped swinging.
In Nebraska’s first appearance at Folsom Field since 2009, when both the Buffs and Big Red were members of the Big 12, Colorado rallied to a wild 34-31 overtime victory Saturday afternoon. Nebraska missed a 48-yard field goal in overtime after CU scored on its possession.
Nebraska’s punter, Isaac Armstrong, was pressed into kicking duties and hit a low squibber.
James Stefanou nailed a 34-yard field goal on the Buffs’ lone OT possession, giving CU the lede. Mustafa Johnson sacked Nebraska quarterback Adrian Martinez on third down in overtime to force the long kick attempt.
