In the first round of the Pac-12 Championships, the University of Colorado women's tennis team's season came to an end as they lost their opening match 4-0 to the No. 30 Washington Huskies Wednesday at the Ojai Valley Athletic Club.
Colorado entered the match seeded tenth, and the loss means they end the season with a 9-13 (1-10 Pac-12) record which puts them tenth in the conference ahead of Washington State. As for the Huskies, they entered the tournament seeded seventh and the win raises their record to 17-8 (6-5 Pac-12) as they will move on to the next round to face the University of California Golden Bears.
