BOULDER – The University of Colorado women's tennis team has its first ranked doubles team of the Steinberg era, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) announced Tuesday morning.
Senior Annabelle Andrinopoulos and junior Monica Malinen are the 35th-ranked duo according to the ITA after being unranked all season long. They are the second-largest jump from unranked to ranked this week after defeating the former No.2-ranked ASU duo two weeks ago.
It has been more than seven years since the Buffs last had a doubles pair ranked nationally with the last pairing ranked 55th in the nation in 2012.
