CU men's basketball: UCCS guard Derrick White transfers to CU

University of Colorado-Colorado Springs guard Derrick White has transferred to the University of Colorado, CU basketball coach Tad Boyle announced Sunday.

Per NCAA transfer rules, White, a 6-5, 180-pound guard and a three-year standout at Division II UCCS, will sit out the 2015-16 season and have one year of eligibility remaining. Boyle said White has signed a financial aid agreement with CU.

White was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-America team during his junior season, when he averaged 25.
