A few weeks ago Colorado men's basketball coach Tad Boyle discussed the nuances and challenges of hitting the summer recruiting circuit with just one open scholarship for the next cycle at his disposal.
It's not uncharted territory for Boyle, who recruited under a similar one-scholarship situation in the summer of 2014. And with the bulk of the talent on his roster comprised largely of underclassmen, the lone scholarship actually gives Boyle a certain level of flexibility, as he told BuffZone.com at the time:
"If we sign one in November, it's going to be a guy we want, not a guy we settle on.
