The Colorado Buffaloes can't say their going to the Big Dance just yet. But they took a huge step in that direction Wednesday night.
Powered by a dominant second-half performance from Josh Scott, CU picked up its biggest and most critical victory of the season, outlasting No. 9 Arizona for a 75-72 win at a raucous Coors Events Center.
Scott will play his final home game on Sunday, but he authored a career highlight in his penultimate home tilt, finishing with 26 points and nine rebounds. Down the stretch of the second half, Scott accounted for 10 of 12 CU field goals.
