University of Colorado senior-to-be Josh Scott is one of 16 current collegians and 22 players overall who have accepted invitations to the 2015 U.S. Pan American Games men's basketball team training camp, announced Monday by USA Basketball.
The training camp is being conducted to select the 12 players who will represent the United States, July 21-25 at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto.
Scott enters his final collegiate season as one of three players in school history with more than 1,000 points, 600 rebounds, 100 blocks and 60 steals.
Other players selected include Ron Baker (Wichita State), Malcolm Brogdon (Virginia), Bobby Brown (Dongguan Leopards, China), Isaiah Cousins (Oklahoma), Micah Downs (Avtodor Saratov, Russia), Kellen Dunham (Butler), Rico Gathers (Baylor), Isaac Haas (Purdue), Nigel Hayes (Wisconsin), Malcolm Hill (Illinois), Ryan Hollins (Sacramento Kings), Keith Langford (UNICS Kazan, Russia), Shawn Long (Louisiana), Monte' Morris (Iowa State), Taurean Prince (Baylor), Anthony Randolph (Lokomotiv-Kuban, Russia), Kaleb Tarczewski (Arizona), Romelo Trimble (Maryland), Denzel Valentine (Michigan State), Fred Van Vleet (Wichita State) and Damien Wilkins (Indios de Mayagüez, Puerto Rico).
