The Colorado Buffaloes made certain there was not a repeat performance.
One night after a sluggish start allowed an overmatched Nicholls squad to entertain an upset bid at the Coors Events Center the Buffs were able to make quick work of Hampton, increasing their winning streak to 10 games with a 95-53 victory Saturday in the Las Vegas Classic.
Josh Scott eclipsed the 20-point mark for the fifth consecutive game and led CU with 21 points and eight rebounds. Tory Miller turned in another impressive effort off the bench, going 6-for-7 from the floor and 7-for-8 at the free throw line before recording a career-high 19 points to go with 10 rebounds and three blocked shots.
