The weight room in the Coors Events Center is a quiet place these days.
Colorado basketball players have completed finals and gone home for a few weeks of rest and recharging.
For all involved with the program, it's a much-needed break, but a pivotal summer awaits the players upon their return to campus in June.
James Hardy is eager to get the summer going.
"When they get back here June 1, we're going," said Hardy, the strength and conditioning coach for men's basketball. "The summer is so exciting for me."
Coming off a 16-18 season — CU's first losing record in five years — the Buffaloes need a big offseason, and that mean's Hardy needs a big offseason.
