When Bill Walton works a room, he seemingly has a one-liner in his pocket for each and every person he greets.
While visiting Boulder on Thursday to promote the line of tequila he co-owns, Azunia Tequila, Walton unleashed quips both comedic and wise to the multi-generational line of fans that greeted him at Hazel's Beverage World.
To the Boston fan who thanked Walton for the 1986 NBA championship he replied, "That was Larry Bird."
To the fan who asked if he remembered the one shot he missed in a legendary 21 for 22 performance in the 1973 NCAA tournament, Walton's no-hesitation response of "I do" pretty much was voiced before the fan finished his question.
