BOULDER – The University of Colorado women's tennis team swept Oregon, 4-0, Friday afternoon in the Rocky Mountain Tennis Center.
The win was the third in the Pac-12 this season, breaking the record for wins in the Pac-12 conference in school history. It was also the first-ever sweep of a Pac-12 team since joining the conference.
Colorado set the pace quickly with its fifth-straight doubles victory. After Oregon forfeited the No.3 doubles match, Sara Nayar and Megan Forster rallied to a 6-4 win in the No.2 doubles match against Julia Eshet and Rifanty Kahfiani to seal the team point.
