Five Colorado lacrosse players were named to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation all-conference teams Wednesday.
Marie Moore, Darby Kiernan and Sarah Brown were first-team selections, while Johnna Fusco and Paige Soenksen were second-team selections. The five all-conference players are the most CU has had in its three-year history; the Buffaloes had five last season and four in 2014.
Moore, a junior midfielder, has 12 goals and eight assists. Kiernan, a sophomore attacker, leads the team with 35 goals, 45 points and 59 shots on goal. Brown, a sophomore, has emerged as the team's top defender.
Fusco, a junior attacker, is second on the team with 31 goals and 40 points.
