Samantha Nemirov scored seven points, and Miranda Stinson added three goals for CU (7-6 overall, 6-2 Pac-12), but it was the Cardinal's Katherine Gjertsen who secured Stanford's road victory with a goal with just 3 minutes, 5 seconds remaining in the extra period of play.
Stanford improved to 10-4 and 5-3 in Pac-12 play.
