Colorado women's golfer Kirsty Hodgkins was one of 24 individuals selected to the 2019 NCAA Regionals on Wednesday. Hodgkins will represent CU at the East Lansing Regional, hosted by the Michigan State University.
It will be Hodgkins' third NCAA Regional appearance. Colorado qualified as a team the past five seasons. The Buffs competed in the Columbus Regional in 2017 and the San Francisco Regional in 2018.
Hodgkins becomes the first Colorado golfer selected as an individual since Jenny Coleman in 2013.
"I am very excited," Hodgkins exclaimed. "It will be weird not going as a team but I'm very excited that I get to represent Colorado and we can still make a name for ourselves.
