Watch the Colorado defense practice for a few minutes, and it'll be tough to miss No. 91.
Eddy Lopez, a sophomore defensive lineman from El Paso, Texas, has a habit of making plays, and could find himself on the field quite a bit this fall for the Buffaloes.
"He's getting better. He's really improving," CU defensive line coach Jim Jeffcoat said. "He's making a big jump from last year to this year and that's to be expected."
Lopez got his feet wet last year as a true freshman, playing in 11 games. He played just 123 snaps, but made 10 tackles and got through a challenging adjustment to the college game.
