Win or lose against No. 9 Stanford on Saturday, it could be a big day for Colorado quarterback Sefo Liufau.

The junior is poised to become the school's all-time leading passer and could set the mark against the Cardinal.

Liufau, who has thrown for 7,178 yards in his career, needs just 232 to break the record currently held by Cody Hawkins (7,409 from 2007-10).

"It would be good, I guess," said Liufau, who predictably downplayed the achievement. "I would really like to win over everything. To break the record would be a tribute to the receivers and the lineman and the running backs and everyone else.
