Coming into the season, the Colorado football team wasn't exactly sure what it had at defensive line in terms of talent and depth.
The Buffaloes knew they had a lot of bodies, at least, with one of those belonging to Leo Jackson III. The sophomore junior college transfer was hoping to somehow be a part of the rotation up front.
Eight games into the season, Jackson has played 67 percent of CU's defensive snaps - second most among all Buffs' linemen.
"Yeah, it's a bit surprising," Jackson said.
