Talk about not being ready for work on a Monday.
In a rare move, Colorado Buffaloes head football coach Mike MacIntyre opted to postpone practice on Monday, citing the team's glut of injuries as the reason for taking an extra day on the sideline.
The Buffs instead will reconvene on Tuesday morning, meaning the team will still hold its full allotment of practices ahead of Saturday's annual spring game.
Colorado's depth on defense had taken a hit over the spring, particularly at linebacker and safety.
Linebackers Kenneth Olugbode (ankle) and Ryan Severson (concussion) had been slowed lately by injuries.
