PASADENA, Calif. — In Colorado's ever-evolving backfield, a new star may have emerged on Saturday.
True freshman Patrick Carr rushed for 100 yards on 19 carries and scored his first career touchdown in the Buffs' 35-31 loss to UCLA at the Rose Bowl.
"It felt good, just going out there and pushing the ball for my teammates," said Carr, who set career highs in carries and yards. "It was fun and exciting, but we should have got the W."
Carr did his part, pacing a CU ground attack that piled up 242 yards on 56 carries.
