Adding strength and power was a point of emphasis for the Colorado football team in the offseason.
Many of the Buffaloes increased their muscle mass in the months leading up to this season, with the hope that it would produce better results on the field.
Through three games, the Buffs are starting to reap the benefits of that hard work. Never was that more evident than in Saturday's 27-24 overtime win against Colorado State.
"We are more physical, we are more stout," CU head coach Mike MacIntyre said.
MacIntyre pointed to two plays, in particular, in which CU's newfound strength played a role in the win.
