The Colorado football program successfully recruited two high school players from Georgia in the past 42 years, but suddenly has two commitments from prep players in the Peach State in the 2016 cycle.
Ronnie Blackmon, a 5-foot-10 defensive back from Atlanta, gave CU coaches his commitment this week and Rivals.com reported the news Wednesday. Blackmon joined fellow Georgia product wide receiver Derrion Rakestraw in joining coach Mike MacIntyre's program this summer.
Blackmon is rated with three stars by Rivals and had offers from other power-five conference schools such as West Virginia, Georgia Tech, Iowa, Arizona, Boston College and Duke.
