SALT LAKE CITY — Goodbye, 2015.
A season filled with disappointment came to a merciful end on Saturday when the Colorado Buffaloes lost to Utah, 20-14, at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
The Buffs (4-9, 1-8 Pac-12) closed out their 10th consecutive losing season with a five-game losing streak, while Utah (9-3, 6-3) kept hope alive for a 10-win season.
Like many of their defeats this year, the Buffaloes spent Saturday afternoon coughing up opportunities.
Still, on a day when they lost another quarterback to injury and used three quarterbacks overall, the Buffs managed to make things interesting late.
