BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The University of Colorado women's tennis team continued their strong singles play this weekend at the IU Invitational, notching four wins. Though, the team faltered in doubles play with just two wins in six doubles matches.
"Today we came out and had some tough competition in singles and doubles," said head coach Nicole Kenneally. "We definitely came out and competed and got our fair share during the first round of doubles and singles.
The two doubles wins came in the morning from the pairings of senior Louise Ronaldson and junior Annabelle Andrinopoulos, who defeated Marquette's Andrea Amortegui and Milica Novakovic, 6-1, as well as junior Chloe Hule and senior Kyra Wojcik, who took down Wright State's Haily Morgan and Jillian Milano, 7-5.
