The season already is over for Aubrey Knight.
Following her team's 76-64 win against visiting San Jose State Thursday night, Colorado women's basketball coach JR Payne confirmed that Knight, a sophomore forward from Ventura, Calif., will be lost for the season due to a shoulder injury. The left-handed Knight will undergo surgery on her right shoulder next week for the second time in about nine months.
Knight missed three games late last season due to the same injury, and went through surgery shortly after the season was complete. After averaging six points and five rebounds off the bench in the first two games of the season, Knight re-injured her shoulder on Nov.
