PULLMAN, Wash. - The short-handed Colorado women's basketball team was routed on Sunday and remained winless in conference play.
Playing their second game without injured senior point guard Kennedy Leonard, the Buffaloes were dominated by Washington State, 74-48, at Beasley Coliseum.
Leonard, the Buffs' leading scorer and all-time leader in assists, remains day-to-day with a foot sprain. She had started 100 consecutive games before Friday's loss at Washington.
Quinessa Caylao-Do scored 18 points to lead CU (10-6, 0-5 Pac-12) on Sunday, but Washington State (7-9, 2-3) controlled the final three quarters and took advantage of Leonard's absence.
