CU Buffs women improve to 10-0

ITTA BENA, Miss. — It was tougher than expected, but the Colorado women's basketball team managed to keep its winning streak alive on Saturday.

Sophomores Kennedy Leonard and Alexis Robinson both scored 20 points to lead the 15th-ranked Buffaloes to a 76-64 win against host Mississippi Valley State at R.W. Harrison HPER Complex.

CU is enjoying just the fifth 10-0 start to a season in program history, but needed to get through its sloppiest game of the season on Saturday.

"Coach (JR Payne) just mentioned how a championship team comes in and handles business," Robinson said in a CU press release.
