Freshman Taylor Kornieck had two goals and one assist to lead Colorado women's soccer to a 4-0 win over Drexel on Sunday at Prentup Field.
Kornieck, who became just the second freshman in Buffs history to collect five points in a match and first since Nikki Marshall did it twice in 2006, attempted seven shots and four on frame. Her opener came in the 10th minute, with an assist by Danica Evans, and was enough for the Buffaloes (3-3) to end a three-match losing streak.
"It feels good to win," Kornieck said. "You could tell from the beginning that everyone was ready to go and pumped up.
