Colorado lacrosse players Sarah Brown and Marie Moore were both named second-team all-West/Midwest Region on Friday by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association. Both players were named first-team all-conference earlier this spring.
Brown, a sophomore defender from Boulder, started all 18 games for CU this season. She led the team with a school-record 29 caused turnovers and added 46 draw controls and 24 ground balls. She also contributed on offense with six assists.
Moore, a junior midfielder from Brick, N.J., also started all 18 games. She led the team with 51 draw controls and had 30 ground balls and 24 caused turnovers.
