After eight rounds at the LPGA Q-Series in Pinehurst, N.C., University of Colorado junior Robyn Choi finished tied for 45th to qualify for LPGA status in 2019.
"I'm very proud of Robyn," Colorado head coach Anne Kelly said. "After a rough start in the first two rounds, she really collected herself and came back to qualify."
Choi finished the tournament with a 10-over 586. The first two rounds saw her shoot a pair of 7-over 79's, but in the third round, she recorded a 5-under 67. She finished the first week of competition with a 4-over 76 for a combined scorecard of 301 (13-over).
