Laviska Shenault is going pro.
Colorado’s star junior wide receiver announced this afternoon that he’ll forgo his senior season and declare for the 2020 NFL draft via two posts on his Twitter feed.
“At 10, when I lost my father, I didn’t know what was next or what I wanted in life,” Shenault said in a statement. “Once football was introduced to me, a lot of doors opened up. As I got older, I understood this was my way out.”
The 6-foot-2 Shenault also understood his draft stock — most analysts expect the Texan to be taken late in the first round or in the second round, at the worst.
