The Colorado Buffaloes men’s basketball team was voted to finish second in the Pac-12, according to the league’s media preseason poll released Tuesday.
CU finished second to Oregon, who edged out the Buffs by three points in the 27-person vote. Both the Buffs and the Ducks received nine first-place votes.
This is CU’s best preseason ranking since joining the conference. Washington, which won the regular season championship last year, finished third.
Forward Tyler Bey and guard McKinley Wright IV, both juniors, were named the Pac-12 preseason first team.
