That feeling of elation that swept through Folsom Field Saturday night?
For a good portion of the action Sunday afternoon at the Coors Events Center, the vibe was decidedly more subdued and anxious.
The cause of concern was the hot shooting of the visiting Wofford Terriers, who gave the Colorado Buffaloes all they could handle before CU was able to pull away midway through the second half for a 75-60 victory.
Wofford made 13-of-26 shots in the first half and led 36-35 early in the second half before the Buffs finally took charge. CU reeled off an 11-0 run, getting four points from Xavier Johnson and a 3-pointer from George King, to take the lead for good.
