Brian Michalowski has been in Boulder for about a month and he’s already got a promotion. According to a Buffzone.com source, Michalowski will be named as the Colorado Buffaloes’ outside linebackers coach, completing first-year head coach Mel Tucker’s staff of on-field assistants.
Michalowski, 29, was hired on Jan.7 as director of quality control for the defense, but has since been moved to a full-time coaching position. He spent the 2018 season as a quality control assistant on defense at Georgia, working with Tucker and new CU defensive coordinator Tyson Summers.
