The Colorado football team has lost one of its top young players to a season-ending injury.
CU head coach Mike MacIntyre announced Tuesday that redshirt freshman cornerback Chris Miller will miss the remainder of the season with a hand injury sustained during Saturday's 27-13 loss at Washington. Miller had surgery on Monday.
"It's real disappointing for him; it's real disappointing to me," MacIntyre said. "I feel like he's an excellent talent. He's a phenomenal kid. I think he can end up being an excellent corner. He was coming on and doing some really good things.
