University of Colorado junior Jeremy Paul has been named to the PING All-West Region Golf Team, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced Monday.
Paul had a tremendous junior season in setting numerous records, most notably season marks for overall-stroke average (70.66), rounds in the 60s (18) and subpar rounds (21). He bettered the average mark by nearly a stroke, shattering the 71.46 mark set by Kane Webber in 2003-04. His marks for the fall (70.65) and the spring (70.67) were school bests as well, as was a streak of seven straight rounds in the 60s. He is currently fourth in the Pac-12 in stroke average and 16th in the nation.
