BOULDER — If Mel Tucker has his druthers, if things land right, in the years to come, the CU Buffs will be coaching up the Max Borghis of the world instead of having to scheme ways to try and stop them.
“He could play anywhere in the country,” Tucker, the Buffs’ first-year coach, said of Borghi, the Washington State tailback, former Pomona star and one of several preparation headaches this week in advance of CU’s trip to Pullman.
“He’s a dynamic guy and they run a lot of offense through him. And he can do a lot of different things.
