Like Laviska Shenault and Mustafa Johnson, Mel Tucker’s shorts will likely be a game-time decision Saturday at Folsom Field. But CU Buffs students who can’t get enough of the hottest pair of knees in college football will now be able to carry that image with them forever.
The first 500 students who arrive for the Buffs-Arizona game, which is slated to kick off at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Folsom, will receive a T-shirt commemorating Tucker’s signature casual-Friday look featured during CU’s 34-31 win at No. 20 Arizona State two weeks ago.
A drawing of Tucker in his signature black shorts is the main art element on the shirt, with the coach bracketed by the words “Feel good, coach good,” a phrase Tucker used at sultry Sun Devil Stadium during the pregame to justify his sartorial decision.
