CU Buffs football returns to top 25

The Colorado football team has returned to the Top 25.

Following their 38-16 rout of UCLA on Friday, the Buffaloes landed at No. 21 in the Associated Press poll and at No. 22 in the Amway Coaches' Poll on Sunday.

This is the first time CU has been ranked since finishing the 2016 season at No. 17 in the AP and No. 15 in the Coaches poll. The Buffs were ranked nine weeks during the 2016 season. Prior to that, however, CU had not been in the top 25 since November of 2005.

CU (4-0, 1-0 Pac-12) enters this week as the only undefeated team in the Pac-12 and one of only 14 in the country.
