The two University of Colorado football players accused of stealing items from a dorm room in April have taken plea deals and were given two-year deferred sentences.

Nu'umoto "N.J." Falo, 19, and Donald "Dino" Gordon, 20, both pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree burglary, a Class 4 felony, last month.

Prosecutors dropped an additional burglary charge as well as charges of theft, drug possession and trespassing.

As a condition of the plea deal, both men were given two-year deferred sentences. If they can go the two years without picking up any new criminal charges and fulfill the conditions of the deal, the guilty pleas will be withdrawn.
