Colorado bolstered its 2018 signing class with the addition of cornerback MeKhi Blackmon to the roster, CU announced Tuesday.
Blackmon — 6-foot, 160 pounds from College of San Mateo (Calif.) — played one season of junior college football after transitioning from receiver in high school. He had 20 tackles, one interception, one pass breakup and one fumble recovery.
When CU offensive linemen Dillon Middlemiss and Grant Polley left the team earlier this month, it opened up a scholarship for the Buffs to offer Blackmon, and he accepted after an official visit to Boulder. Blackmon will join the team in July and be eligible to participate in fall camp.
