On Saturday, the Buffaloes waltzed to a 56-7 rout of Idaho State in the home opener at Folsom Field. The Buffs are 2-0 for the first time in three years, with a date at No. 5 Michigan coming up next Saturday.
Despite knowing Michigan — and the nine-game Pac-12 slate — is on the horizon, CU kept its focus long enough to dispatch of the visiting Bengals (1-1), a Football Championship Subdivision team that is now 0-18 all-time against Power 5 conference opponents.
